Payment Assistance

The Lamar Utilities Board recognizes that our customers may sometimes struggle to pay their utility bills. We are committed to helping by offering options like payment plans and connecting you with available energy assistance programs.

Cold weather can exacerbate these challenges, so it's crucial for customers to contact our office immediately if they receive disconnection notice. We issue these notices after two delinquent billing cycles, which is approximately 32-35 days. This timeframe provides an ample opportunity to arrange payment and avoid service disconnection. Please reach out to us to set up a payment plan to ensure continued service.

There are a variety of Energy Assistance programs available to our customers. Qualified customers can receive assistance by applying for state-funded programs like LEAP and Energy Outreach, as well as through other local agencies. For more information on these options, please call our office at 719-336-7456.
